The ten-dollar bill depicts Chinatown in California and the New York Garment Strike. The strike started in Chinatown in New York and changed labor laws nationwide.
The five-dollar bill depicts Koreatown in California, the first Koreatown settlement in the United States, a place for Korean Americans to connect with their culture.
